“Crème Brûlée“ literally translates to “burnt cream“. The name gets its origin from the particular way the dessert is made: sugar is sprinkled on top of the crème and then heated up to the point where it creates a thin layer of caramelized sugar. In order to reach the velvety cream underneath, you'll have to use the back of your spoon to break through the thin layer of candy-like shell.

I never go to the website to write a review, but this dessert was so good I absolutely had to! Such an enjoyable treat and I love that you can get that nice crunch on top from the broiler. Wowed by this dessert and will definitely purchase again. Also added some fresh picked blueberries and c’était délicieux!

It is the creamest, best flavored dessert I’ve ever had! I’ve tried 3 other brands & by far, Petit Pot makes the best. I’m actually addicted & frequently buy the entire stock in the few stores that sell it near me in Connecticut! The week before last, I purchased 2 more orders, but they still haven’t arrived! Please hurry or I’ll have to check into a rehab center soon!

I absolutely love anything Creme Brule, but this quick treat is so tasty and so easy to prepare!!! Plus the calories are far lower than most creme brule desserts. All in all LOVE!!!
