If you are a DIY and plant lover, our jars are the perfect companion for your hobby! Let us share a quick and easy way to propagate plants without soil. All you need is your plant's stems, clean Petit Pot jars, and water. You can also add little colorful rocks to make it fancier!
This fun DIY project is perfect for plants like money plant, sedum, succulents, jade plants, satin pothos, snake plants, golden pothos, ZZ plant, or rubber plant. Here’s how it works:
- Take stem cuttings from any plant as mentioned above. Place it in a Petit Pot jar.
- Pour enough water close to the top edge.
- Keep your Petit Pot plant in indirect light.
Remember to change your water every few days, and soon you’ll be seeing roots. After about 30 days, you can take your plant out and put it in a vase or bigger jar filled with water to let it root.
Cozy customized jar tip: grab a thin rope or twine and a hot glue gun. Wrap the jar with the rope from bottom to top and glue it as you go.
