What is a pot de crème?

Dating to the Middle Ages, a pot de crème (English: pot of cream) is a loose French dessert custard traditionally served in small containers or jars, which is what we use. It nearly shares the same texture of a pudding, only thicker and creamier.

How is pot de crème made?

Once all the ingredients are weighed, we heat up the milk, cream and solid ingredients (sugar and salt). When the temperature is high enough, we add the eggs and the specific flavorings of each pot de crème such as our dark chocolate or our California lemon juice. After cooking for an additional few minutes, the crème is poured into glass jars and rushed into our fridges to be refrigerated and cooled. And voila!

This is YUMMY!
I had not heard about this brand before but was looking for a better alternative for Snack Packs that I enjoyed as a child. These were AMAZING, so creamy, fresh, and the chocolate flavor isn't overwhelming. It is just right.

Petit pot dark chocolate
I just wanted to say "thank you" for such a wonderful dessert. It was just delightful! Everyone should try this and you'll be pleasantly surprised. It is delicious. Finally someone gives a dessert that tastes like homemade. Not much in grocery stores like this. Thank you so much.

Bigger jar please!
This chocolate dessert is insanely good. I use a tiny spoon to make it last lol Please make a bigger size!!
I’ve tried the chocolate many times and the vanilla once. The vanilla has an odd consistency. Kinda watery.
The chocolate is rich and thick as it should be. I just want a bigger jar :)
