What is a pot de crème?
Dating to the Middle Ages, a pot de crème (English: pot of cream) is a loose French dessert custard traditionally served in small containers or jars, which is what we use. It nearly shares the same texture of a pudding, only thicker and creamier.

Once all the ingredients are weighed, we heat up the milk, cream and solid ingredients (sugar and salt). When the temperature is high enough, we add the eggs and the specific flavorings of each pot de crème such as our dark chocolate or our California lemon juice. After cooking for an additional few minutes, the crème is poured into glass jars and rushed into our fridges to be refrigerated and cooled. And voila!

my life partner and I paid $9 at Whole Foods for 2 introductory sized petit pots. we were delighted with them and are now ready to receive the full size pots. we couldn't find a claim form on your site... though we did see some disappointing reviews about Pistachio. (we challenge the dissenting reviewer who left a 2 star review solely based on texture to produce a smoother treat in such a comically small pot.)
visitors to our home LOVE to hear us detail all of the amazing plants we've grown in our introductory sized petit pots and they are just as excited as we are to watch us grow actual plants in the full size pots.
give our love to Louis and his caregiver. when do we get a comic about her adventures carrying all his goods through the streets of Paris?

I love your Pot De Cream in the dark chocolate. It's smooth & flavorful & just right size for 1 serving,which living alone & being somewhat disabled because before I found them @ 1 of our high end grocery stores, I hadn't had pudding/ Pot De Cream in yrs.I also greatly appreciate that they are Organic as I try to only eat organic foods. The empty jars are great for starting plants when empty. I saw somewhere that Costco sell bigger pack of them I will have to check to see if the one in Marin Cty,CA has them because I'm sure that they are better deal & our high end grocery store in Sonoma runs out @ times. Thank you so much for making them.
