What does “Crème Brûlée“ mean in French?

“Crème Brûlée“ literally translates to “burnt cream“. The name gets its origin from the particular way the dessert is made: sugar is sprinkled on top of the crème and then heated up to the point where it creates a thin layer of caramelized sugar. In order to reach the velvety cream underneath, you'll have to use the back of your spoon to break through the thin layer of candy-like shell.

BEST Dessert Ever!!!
Wow, Wow I'm in Heaven. I suffer from acid in my tummy alot, since I found your products I purchased 40 packages. I tell you what I did to them. I took 12 jars out mixed with half and half, placed into a graham cracker crust mixed with fresh strawberries
Frozen it in the freezer and have it as a main dessert. I use ur little jars as I make little candles inside them. This product I also live is Pistachio, Vanilla Bean and Chocolate too. Love Creme Brulee. So good. I know it says not to freeze but I love iced desserts.
I'm down to 12 jars left. I need to get some more at Fresh Market. I think I hit the jackpot when I purchased them.
Thank you for saving my tummy so I can finally enjoy something that does not upset my tummy.

Granted Wish
Crème brûlée is my absolute favorite dessert but it’s not necessarily one of those that you can take home from a restaurant. So my wish has been granted that I now can have this at home thanks to Petite Pot 💕 it is just as delicious as it is in any restaurant I’ve had

Wow!
Absolutely delicious! This is my new favorite packaged dessert. Plus the glass jar is 👍. Would love to buy reusable lids for these, but I think the ones you sell are only for the other size jars… correct?
